Intra-Oral Cameras

We utilize intra-oral camera technology in every room that helps you better understand your diagnosis. An intra-oral camera is a very small camera that allows our practice to view clear and precise images of your mouth, teeth and gums in order for us to make accurate diagnoses.
What does this mean for you, the patient? A faster diagnosis with less chair-time! Mounted on the end of a pen-shaped instrument, the tiny intraoral camera is used to provide detailed imaging of the teeth and gums. Digital images are then captured instantly and sent to a TLC Light System™ monitor mounted above each treatment chair, where patient and dentist can view them together. As a result, patients learn about their problem areas and better understand their treatment, which increases their comfort before and during a procedure.
Apart from the Intra-Oral Camera, Dr. LeSage utilizes a 35mm SLR semi-professional camera that produces high resolution images. These provide a more accurate diagnosis and are also used for greater precision during all complex restorative and esthetic cases.

Computer Imaging

Computer smile imaging can show the dazzling effects that porcelain veneers, teeth whitening, porcelain crowns, Invisalign® invisible braces, restorative dentistry, and other procedures can have on your smile.

Digitized Radiography

This procedure involves the use of a small sensor that is briefly placed inside the mouth while an x-ray is taken. This sensor acts like a tiny camera that is more sensitive to x-ray light than normal light, able to capture details rarely visible on film.
